Best Metal + Hard Rock festival in the U.K. Situated in a very nice rural location, ran mostly by the same family. Have been attending regularly since 2011. Never had a bad experience, ever. Love it! 5/5.

Such a beautiful and friendly festival for metallers of all ages. It’s relatively small size affords convenience and intimacy that can’t be found at other festivals, yet amazing acts with world class sound and stage tech. 4 pint flagons of cider for 20 quid, bar at each tent for convenient bevs.

Great metal festival. Opens on the Thurs til the Sunday night. Not commercial, freindly people and not too expensive Good variety of bands and the New Blood stage is good for bands who have won their place from around the country.

A small independent heavy metal music festival which is very family friendly, located in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. Very friendly fans, and no crime that I know of when I went there last week, 11-14 August 2022.
